Join us Saturday 5th September through to Sunday 6th September for a challenging fundraising event at Whitmore Lakes.
Imagine a full day and night by the water…the sound of steady strokes, quiet determination, and a shared sense of purpose carrying everyone through. The 24 Hour Festival of Swimming isn’t just an event; it’s an experience that brings people together for something bigger than themselves, raising vital funds to support the great work of the Alzheimer’s Society.
The ultimate team challenge!
At our 24-hour charity swim, teams work together to keep one swimmer in the water at all times from sunrise to sunset, and into the night.
Whether you’re an experienced swimmer looking for a new challenge or someone who simply wants to be part of a team effort, this challenge is designed for everyone. If you don’t have a team yet, support will be available to help you find one, making it easy to get involved.
More than just a swim
This is not a typical sporting event. It’s a team building challenge in support of a great charity, built around community, resilience, and shared moments.
Including:
- On-site camping and campervan spaces
- Full safety cover
- Night-time lighting for a unique after-dark experience
- Toilets located at the lake
- Food and drink vendors
- More to be announced!
Giving back
This event is driven by purpose. All profits will be donated to Alzheimer’s Society, supporting their vital work.
Each team will also receive access to a shared fundraising page, helping to maximise the impact. Every moment in the water contributes to something far greater than the challenge itself.
The challenge starts 12pm Saturday 5th September to 12pm Sunday 6th September, tickets coming soon. Reserve your spot for £40.
