Don’t just take our word for it -here are a few stories from clients who’ve transformed their open water swimming experience with Kuotos Swim:
I can't believe how much they have learnt.
“My two children have only had 3 lessons so far and I can’t believe how much they have learnt. My 4 year old boy is now learning how to swim without any aids and my 2 year old girl is down to just a fin. The most impressive part is how much of a smile they both have on their faces as they are learning.”
Stewart Sim

Got questions? We’ve got the answers!
Open Water swimming can be perceived as challenging, but it really is very accessible and joyful. Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. Please get in touch if you need any further reassurances.
Are there fish in there, isn't it too cold, and why is the water so blue?
The lakes were drained and emptied of fish prior to opening as open water swim pools – however, we are dealing with nature… Temperature isn’t a barrier to open water swimming! We’ll help you to adapt and learn how to acclimatise whatever the weather. An organic blue dye is added to the water to help prevent the build up of algae. The water is blue, but you won’t be!
What if I’m nervous about swimming in open water?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous about swimming in open water – many people do at first! Our friendly, experienced team will support you every step of the way. Book an Intro Session and do come along to our supported Tuesday night swimming sessions in Osprey at Whitmore Lakes.
What do I need to bring to a session?
For your session, please bring a swimming costume or wetsuit (depending on your preference), a towel, warm clothes to change into afterwards, and a bottle of water. If you have a swim cap and goggles, bring those too – but don’t worry if not, we can advise you on what’s best. Most importantly, bring a positive attitude! We have wetsuits available to try, and buy.
