Lessons are delivered at the allocated time as communicated by Ian at The Stone House Hotel.
​
If you are late for a lesson the time is lost due to lessons running back to back.
Payment
​
Payment is due 7 days prior to the first block of lessons, unless otherwise agreed, via Bank Transfer to:

One off individual lesson can be paid for on the day by cash, card or bank transfer.
Cancellation by Kuotos Swim
​

We reserve the right to cancel lessons for reasons of holiday and personal events.

All missed lessons will be honoured and carried forward.
-
As much notice as possible will be given to clients – more than 7 days.
-
If lessons are cancelled due to situations out of our control, weather, pool issues, paid for lessons will be honoured.
Cancellation by You

You are at liberty to cancel a session, you have 7 weeks to use the 6 lessons.
-
7 weeks starts from the first lesson (Kuotos holidays not included in the 7 weeks)
-
Cancellation must be 48 hours prior to the lesson. If this notice is given the lesson can be carried forward.

Cancellation within 48 hours the lesson will be forfeited
-
Exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis

No refunds will be entered into for block of lessons pre paid.
Communication

Groups will be created for each day and are used for one way communication only

Kuotos Swim Photography Policy
We understand that you may wish to record video or take photos of your child learning to swim, the following must be adhered to:

Only close ups containing your child only
-
No wide angle shots taking in the whole pool or other people
-
No photography when other children are in the pool
-
No other adults are to be in any shots
​
I am happy to be included in the images / videos and give my permission

Open Water at Whitmore Lakes
​
Kuotos Swim is delighted to welcome you to our open water swimming venue at Whitmore Lakes. To make this experience safe and enjoyable we ask that you read and adhere to the following terms and conditions:

All swimmers entering the water do so at their own risk. Please ensure that you fully understand the dangers associated with swimming in open water, with the potential for personal injury and property loss.

Swimmers must not get in the lake until a member of staff authorises them to. They must enter safely and adhere to the specific swimming session times; and exit the water when asked to. Swimmers are to follow all rules and instructions from Kuotos Swim and Whitmore Lakes staff.

Wetsuits are strongly recommended as they give you warmth and buoyancy.

Bright swimming headwear must be worn; this will make you more visible when in the water.

Goggles are recommended; though not compulsory. Neoprene gloves and socks are permitted to be worn.

It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that their kit is suitable and safe for purpose.

Swimmers must enter and exit the water at the specified place and stay within the designated swim route; unless instructed otherwise by a member of staff.

Swimming is anticlockwise round the course, do not obstruct or interfere with other swimmers.

All participants must be able to swim unaided for 50 metres (2 lengths of a standard indoor pool). Apart from Introduction to Cold Water Immersion sessions

All swimmers must be physically and mentally fit and have no pre-existing medical conditions that would affect them swimming in open water & complete a medical form on each visit.

​If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure or are pregnant you must seek medical advice prior to swimming and will be signing to that effect. If you can not do this please do not book a session.

You must not swim if you have any known medical conditions that would make open water swimming unsafe for you.

You must not swim if you are feeling unwell. If a swimmer becomes unwell during a session; they must leave the water immediately and inform a member of staff.
In the event of difficulty; swimmers must roll on to their back and signal for rescue by waving one arm in the air. -
Do not dive in the water.

You are not permitted to swim at Whitmore Lakes unless authorised by the Kuotos Swim or Whitmore Lakes during one of the official sessions.

All sessions must be booked in advance with Kuotos Swim / Whitmore Lakes.

Payment must be made in advance at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

Emergency contact details must be provided on each visit.

We reserve the right to close the lakes due to fast-changing weather conditions, or to amend the course dimensions for safety or maintenance. We will endeavour to give as much notice as possible.

If a session has to be cancelled by us; you will be issued with a credit.

Any sessions cancelled by the customer are non-refundable or transferable. Please ensure you are able to attend the session before making your booking.

All children under the age of 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst on the site.

All children under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied in the water by an adult.
-
Please note that children will not be permitted to enter the water without an adult; standing at the waters edge is not sufficient.

Participants agree to assign and grant permission for Kuotos Swim / Whitmore Lakes to use and publish any photography or video made or taken whilst open water swimming at our venue. Please inform a member of staff if you have any objections to your photograph being used.

Free parking is available at your own risk. Please only park in the designated areas.

The participant is fully responsible for their actions whilst attending Whitmore Lakes; this includes entry and exit onto the site and any other unrelated swimming activities.

Kuotos Swim & Whitmore Lakes do not accept responsibility for the actions of the participant; nor the consequences of their actions. If a participant breaks the rules resulting in being asked to leave or them being banned there will be no refund.

All items left at the side of the water are left at the owner’s risk; Kuotos Swim & Whitmore Lakes takes no responsibility for any missing or damaged items.

In the unlikely event of injury, accident, loss or damage, regardless of however it may be caused, no responsibility whatsoever will be attached to the owners, staff or any persons involved in the organisation at Kuotos Swim & Whitmore Lakes.

Threatening behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated; you will be asked to leave the site immediately with no refund.

Kuotos Swim reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time; the updated version will be uploaded to the website.
